There is just so much to do and see in this area that we find a lot of our customers need to come back because they haven't had enough time to do everything. Places to eat: The village has two very good pubs, The Royal Oak & The Drax Arms, both are within walking distance from the park. Further afield in Dorchester, Blandford, Poole & Wareham are many restaurants, pubs and take-aways.

Walking/Cycling: There is everything from a 5 minute to 5 hour walks/cycle trails from the park itself. Bike hire is also available locally.

Beaches: The nearest sandy beaches are at Swanage & Studland and also Sandbanks (Poole), 25 - 30 minutes away. Nearer still is the famous Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door.

Fishing: We are not far for Coarse Fishing (www.pallatrax.co.uk), Fly Fishing (www.goflyfishing.co.uk) and Sea Fishing,
